Summit Overview

The 16th Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit & Awards™, the world’s longest-running and leading thought leadership platform on sustainability will be held on the 25th of April 2024 at the Novotel Hanoi, Thai Ha, Vietnam. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend both events and gain a wider perspective on related issues.

Today companies have made fundamental changes in their approach to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. Once regarded as a risk to be mitigated, ESG is now appreciated as one of the biggest value-creation opportunities and industry shifts of our time. ESG aspirations do not inherently translate into immediate value, and there exist notable obstacles to surmount. Striking a balance between short-term profitability and long-term objectives is also acknowledged as a complex endeavour. Even amid the prevailing circumstances, those at the forefront of ESG efforts are seizing short-term benefits through ESG measures to achieve immediate financial objectives, all the while directing investments toward initiatives that generate enduring societal and financial value.

Leaders in the ESG transformation comprehend that this is a shared challenge, and they collaborate with partners across the value chain to enhance their effectiveness. This collaboration expedites advancements, reduces expenses, enhances data collection and dissemination, achieves economies of scale, and fosters the development of fresh capabilities.

The Theme of this year’s event “Generating Meaningful Impact. Unlocking Value” will focus on inspiring participants to cultivate good ESG policies to increase value as industries shift in response to customer, employee, and shareholder demand for action. With thought leaders from various industries and hundreds of senior executives and CSR & ESG professionals from around the world, the event promises to be a memorable experience for all. The conference will also play host to the Global CSR & ESG Awards™, recognising the exemplary efforts of companies in the contributions to the sustainability movement and with a treat to various renowned sustainability sites and projects in Vietnam on day two.
