Director of ASSIST in the Mekong region covering Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand
Aru David is currently the Regional Director of ASSIST in the Mekong region covering Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. ASSIST is an international NGO & a Non-Profit, implementing social & environmental projects in most of the ASEAN countries. He is also the global director of the Private Sector Partnership function within ASSIST, supporting all ASSIST country offices on collaboration with businesses. Aru David has been based in Vietnam for past 15 years managing ASSIST operations in the Mekong region. Aru David, graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the prestigious National Institute of Technology in India and after a few years as management consultant moved to the development sector. Aru David has successfully initiated collaboration with the private sector, Govt and Academe on several CSR & CSV projects in the ASEAN region. Aru David has been invited as speaker in several conference on sustainability & CSR across the globe.
